While rust may eventually occur on metal and steel surfaces, delaying or preventing its formation is possible. You can rely on corrosion prevention products from a reputable brand like Rust Bullet to achieve this. Our rust-inhibitive coatings—such as Rust Bullet Industrial— offer a reliable solution. By using our layers, you can gain peace of mind knowing that your assets will have an extended lifespan and require minimal maintenance, even when subjected to harsh environmental conditions.
Easy to apply
Rust Bullet requires minimal surface preparation since it is a one-part multi-coat urethane, reducing labor costs and waste. Moreover, it minimizes downtime and lowers maintenance costs by requiring little to no upkeep.
Does your application require surface preparation? Rust Bullet Metal Blast can remove any existing rust. Just remember to let the surface dry completely before applying Rust Bullet Industrial.
It takes only a few coats.
Rust Bullet Industrial only requires a minimum dft (dry film thickness) of 12 to 15 mils for most commercial and industrial applications. However, you can increase the level of protection by increasing the mil measurement. Check the surface’s condition and exposure to abrasive objects, harsh chemicals, moisture, and the damaging effects it must endure from environmental conditions to determine if more dry film thickness is necessary.
Not just for industrial and commercial applications
Our corrosion prevention products also extend to vehicles. Use Rust Bullet Automotive as the primer before applying the finish color. We also have specialty products like BlackShell and WhiteShell to achieve a timeless aesthetic with a lustrous finish. Rust Bullet Automotive and top coats are easy to apply with HVLP equipment, specifically with a 1.7 to 2.0 tip and 40 to 60 psi. This should deliver a dry film thickness of 1.5 to 2.0 mils per coat.
