Project Description:

Application of 16 – 20mil dft applied throughout surface goldmining facility. Exposures to extreme harsh conditions including Hydrochloric and Sulphuric Acids, Cyanides, Abrasive and high humidity atmospheres.

Project Inspections completed through 2013; coatings remain intack with no additional applications required.

This project is inspected approximately four times annually as a part of The Chavern Group’s Inspection, Maintenance and Repair Program that accompanies their industrial applications. This program will ensure that the client’s assets are protected appropriately at all times. Each inspection records not only the date and time, but also the location of the inspection, the remaining coating dry film thickness and recommended course of action. The reports are signed by an inspector from the Chavern Group as well as the appropriate customer representative and are accompanied by photographic records for the asset files. This program allows for the customer to treat only areas that are in need of attention and not the entire facility when only a portion is in need of re-coating, which is a great monetary savings to the owners.
